Blind Dates or Why Personal Connections Are So Important

Panera Bread, P.F. Chang’s, Stir, Camp House, Wired, Mean Mug, my own house, my computer. It happens again and again. And it’s always really exciting! Will they recognize me? Do they look like the picture they send me? Do I look like the picture on my blog today? What do I do if we don’t have anything to talk about, if we run out of topics after only a few minutes? By now you might be wondering what I’m talking about. Well, about blind dates, of course! I’ve had several since I started this blog. And I’m loving it!

Liebster Award 2016

ALT Summit 2016 – This is what I learned

WOW!!! ALT Summit 2016, my first ever blog conference, was AMAZING! And it was so much more than that: incredibly good and professional speakers, a schedule packed with tons of information, all sorts of goodies from sponsors open for collaborations, cool fun parties every day (all day), and the most inspiring, creative and stylish (!) crowd I’ve ever been a part of. My head is still spinning, my office is still a mess, and I still have the biggest smile on my face.

Want to know more about ALT? I thought I’d walk you briefly through the conference day by day, since I know that a lot of you have no idea how a blog conference (in the United States) looks like. Guess what? Neither did I! I’m also going to share my biggest takeaways from the sessions I attended. Let’s go!

Alt Summit 2016 – Here I Come!

I’m going to my first blog conference ever! Tomorrow! It’s called ALT Summit, it’s in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I’m pretty sure I’m not lying if I’m saying that it is THE conference for bloggers in North America. Want to know more about it? Click here.

2015 In Review – My Blog and Personal Goals

How did this happen? The new year is already almost a week old and I haven’t had a single minute to sit down, reflect and come up with goals for 2016. But now that the kids are back in school (and the grandparents are on a shopping spree), I’m finally sitting at my desk again, with a cup of coffee and nothing on my agenda until 2pm this afternoon. Yeah! So today I’ll start with a reflection on 2015 and my goals for the blog and my personal life. Ready? This is the post I wrote on this topic about a year ago (only in German). Let’s find out what happened over the course of 12 months!
