 1 – Parenting styles differ across countries. And cultures. And from one family to another. But that’s a different topic. Here is what an American mum has to say about parenting in Germany. She mentions for example, the first day of school, the so-called Einschulung, which is a big deal in a kid’s life in Germany. And here is what non-Americans think about parenting in the United States. Some surprising insights, right?

2 – For those of you looking for improving their English skills, this list of incorrectly used words might be an eye-opener. I’m struggling with good and well or if and whether, for example. But since English is not my native language, I might get away with it. This list in German, however, might be considerably longer, especially since I have been gone for such a long time. I sometimes think that I’m losing my „feel“ for the language. Do you know what I’m talking about?
