It’s Friday and I finally had the time to do a Friday Link Love post for you. In these posts you will always find links to articles, videos, social media posts, essays, blogs, shows, movies, podcasts, books and more. And my links usually cover a very wide range of topics: kids, motherhood, relationship and career advise, expat life and travel, health and death, coffee and learning, social media, blogs, books and podcasts. Topped with the occasional recipe or product recommendation. But no more babbling. Let’s turn to my favorite Friday links!
I hope this post finds you well, maybe you are relaxing at the beach or the pool right now, a refreshing drink at your side while you are reading this.
This won’t be the epic, over a thousand words long post that I thought it would be. Summer is here and we are all (almost) in vacation mode. Even the blogging world is moving at a much slower pace. So I’ll keep it short.
It’s been really quiet in my little corner of the internet. And not only because I’ve been really busy with a translation project. I also had to sort through a lot of blog-related issues. And I came to the following conclusion: (mehr …)
Hey! How are you today?
I just realized that my Instaper box is overflowing. Which means that it’s time for a new edition of my favorite links that I’m sharing with you. Because I know that you are busy. And that you don’t always have time to browse the web for those inspiring articles that appear in the NYT, The Atlantic, Wired, Fast Company and the like. I know that you don’t want to spend hours scrolling down your social media feeds for that one valuable post. That’s why you need people in your life that do some of the work for you. Curators of content who track down and share inspiring, helpful, entertaining, though-provoking content with their community. So that you always stay in the loop.
It’s late on Friday and the weekend is already here. How did that happen? At least it finally stopped raining today and the forecast for tomorrow (but just for tomorrow…) looks like perfect Biergarten weather! Do you have anything fun planned, too? Since Sunday is forecasted to by grey and rainy again in this neck of the woods, you might be looking for something thoughtful / fun / inspiring to add to your reading list. Look no further – here are my favorite Friday links!
A week ago I gave a presentation at the Expat in the City Fair. My topic: The challenges of moving back to your home country. If you are interested, you can watch the video of the blogger event here. It was such a fun event! I really wish I would have had more time to visit the different booths and meet more people. Which means that I’ll definitely come back next year. With more time and less nerves… Now on to my favorite links of the week.
