In my first interview in English I’m talking to my dear friend Angela Beard. Angela and I have known each other for a very long time. We used to see each other on a very regular basis when I lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Angela lives with her husband and her three kids in Atlanta, Georgia, which is only a 90 minutes drive from where we used to live.
Today, Angela and I are having a conversation about almost everything: we start with Beautycounter products, talk about Covid and home schooling, vaccines and masks as well as coping mechanisms during the pandemic.
We then turn to lighter topics such as our favorite books, TV shows and, of course, podcasts! My lists of podcasts that I want to check out got considerably longer during our conversation.
Towards the end we talk about our plans for the summer. And then I ask Angela the ultimate political question: How does Biden-America differ from Trump-America? Listen to Angela’s very personal take on this topic in this episode.
I also learned a new expression: THE ROARING TWENTIES! You will find out what this is all about and why Angela’s words gave me a lot of hope for the post-pandemic future here in Germany.
Have fun listening!
